UHPC (Ultra High Performance Concrete) is a relatively new material started using in Europe and US in 2011, often used for outdoor decoration and infrastructure. It consists of fine cement, mineral admixture, fiber and other additives, with 3~4 times strength of GRC but lighter than GRC. Due to its ultra high strength characteristic, the product can be designed slimmer and lighter which is easier to install and more flexibility in design. UHPC is also nonporous, providing a better waterproofing and corrosion resistance and can be cleansed with water and normal cleaning agent. Lifetime for UHPC is over 120 years which is more than double of GRC.
